Assistant Store Manager Designate (Travel Role)

About the role

Superdrug is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager Designate to travel between stores in the South East England region. You will support stores where you are needed most, gaining experience across multiple teams while working towards a permanent store placement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, motivating and developing a high‑performing team.
• Drive sales through effective promotions, merchandising and stock control.
• Maintain operational standards, including audits, budgeting and inventory management.
• Create an engaging environment for customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Strong customer‑service focus and a results‑driven mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to one hour from a base store and hold a full‑UK driving licence (vehicle preferred).
• Ability to undergo training for optional piercing services.
