Assistant Store Manager – Retail Beauty

About the role
As an Assistant Store Manager you will work alongside the Store Manager to drive retail excellence at The Body Shop in London. You will help create a welcoming, ethical beauty experience that boosts sales and builds customer loyalty.
Key responsibilities
- Coach and support the sales team to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee day‑to‑day store operations, both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse data and help meet commercial targets.
- Maintain visual standards and ensure product knowledge across the team.
- Assist with stock control, merchandising and loss prevention.
- Promote The Body Shop’s ethical values and sustainability initiatives.
Required profile
- Strong enthusiasm for the brand and its ethical mission.
- Excellent communication and people‑management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment and adapt to change.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for beauty products.
