Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role
Join JD Sports as an Assistant Store Manager and work alongside the Store Manager to drive sales, develop talent and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will be a key leader on the shop floor, ensuring the store meets JD’s high standards every day.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in daily store operations to achieve sales targets and core KPIs.
- Lead and guide colleagues on the shop floor, allocating tasks and maintaining JD standards.
- Motivate the team to deliver strong service and meet performance objectives.
- Assist with stock management, visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Help drive operational excellence and identify areas for growth.
Required profile
- Confident leadership with the ability to inspire a retail team.
- Strong commercial awareness and focus on results.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ambitious retail environment.
