Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role

You will lead by example and champion a customer‑first mindset in our busy Boscombe store. This role combines day‑to‑day store operations with the opportunity to develop your leadership skills while delivering high‑quality eye and hearing care to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth running and excellent customer service.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of retail and clinical staff.
• Manage stock levels, visual merchandising and product presentation.
• Drive sales targets and promote the full range of eye and hearing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and company policies.
• Deliver comprehensive eye tests and hearing assessments as required.

Required profile

• Strong communicator with a passion for people.
• Proven experience managing teams in a retail environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work in a fast‑paced setting.
• Hard‑working, enthusiastic and customer‑focused.
