Assistant Urban Designer

About the role

Benoy’s London Studio is looking for a creative and collaborative Assistant Urban Designer to join its Masterplanning team. You will support senior designers by conducting research, developing masterplan options, and contributing to the design of urban and public realm projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce design sketches, diagrams, plans, models and renderings for reports and presentations.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform masterplan options and strategies.
• Assist in the development of architectural schemes and public realm interventions using 3D and physical modelling.
• Support the preparation of documentation and presentations for client and stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with team members, manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in urban environments, sustainability and the future of cities.
• Excellent design portfolio demonstrating urban design or masterplanning work.
• Good written communication skills and ability to work in a team.
