Assistant Vice President – Business Management & Planning

About the role

Join MUFG's EMEA Operations team in London as an Assistant Vice President, Business Management and Planning. You will play a central part in driving operational excellence, supporting a global network, and ensuring the smooth execution of business management initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the update and maintenance of key policy and procedure documents, including Business Continuity plans and organisational charts.
• Establish and manage the Operations Balanced Scorecard, aligning KPIs with local, regional and global targets, monitoring results and developing action plans.
• Create presentation materials for Town Halls, senior executives and other audiences to communicate strategic objectives.
• Lead projects on behalf of EMEA Operations, acting as the primary contact for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Analyse existing operational processes, identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancements to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Support cost‑control management by tracking expenses, reporting accurately and challenging costs to optimise resource allocation.
• Enhance and roll out the Skills Matrix across Operations, ensuring staff capabilities are mapped for ongoing development.

Required profile

• Strong interest in process improvement, data analysis and operational efficiency.
• Experience working in a regulated financial services environment.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple international locations.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior audiences.
