Assistant Vice President – Global Network Banking Associate (Support Banker)

About the role

The Support Banker role is a client‑facing position within Citi’s Global Network Banking team in London. You will work closely with senior bankers to deepen wallet penetration, drive revenue growth and ensure seamless delivery of Citi’s products and services to local subsidiaries of multinational clients.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior bankers to provide overall relationship management support.
• Assist with day‑to‑day cash management, trading initiatives, vendor finance, foreign exchange, loan activity and debt capital markets efforts.
• Support cross‑selling of the full spectrum of Citi products by identifying customer needs and generating revenue.
• Evaluate public filings, research reports, business plans and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses.
• Stay abreast of market and industry trends, best practices and the competitive landscape.

Required profile

• Significant experience in client management or a related role within the financial services industry.
• Deep understanding of the local market, economic trends and regulatory environment.
• Strong credit understanding and risk assessment skills.
• Demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field; MBA, CFA or other advanced degree is a plus.
