Associate Director - B2B PR and Communications

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead B2B public relations and communications for a fast‑growing agency in Bristol. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will shape strategy and deliver integrated campaigns for high‑profile technology and enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR, social, creative and employee‑engagement programmes that drive measurable business results.
• Provide strategic counsel on reputation, crisis and issues management, including plan development and simulation exercises.
• Lead new‑business pitches, nurture client relationships and identify growth opportunities across existing accounts.
• Mentor account managers and executives, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing team culture.
• Present campaign performance and insights to senior client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in B2B communications, preferably within technology or enterprise sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of winning new business and expanding client portfolios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical topics into compelling stories.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hybrid work environment and manage multiple client programmes simultaneously.
