Associate Director – BCB Markets Origination

About the role

The Associate Director – BCB Markets Origination will join Lloyds Banking Group’s Business and Commercial Banking Markets team. You will be responsible for originating, selling, executing and facilitating foreign‑exchange (FX) transactions for SME and Mid‑Corporate clients, helping them manage currency and commodity risk throughout their business lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and execute FX transactions, including spot, forwards and options, for new‑to‑bank and new‑to‑product clients.
• Develop and grow the FX franchise by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Price, structure and implement FX risk‑management solutions tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with product partners to deliver a holistic service offering and drive referrals.
• Contribute to the digital proposition and leverage technology to improve client and colleague experience.

Required profile

• Results‑oriented with a strong interest and experience in financial markets.
• Comfortable engaging with clients and building relationships.
• Willingness to obtain the necessary qualifications for booking trades and trading, with full support from the firm.
• Team‑focused attitude and desire to learn across product areas.
