Key responsibilities

• Lead highways and drainage design across major development projects.
• Oversee S278, S38 and S104 approvals and define technical strategy.
• Provide mentoring, technical governance and senior design review.
• Act as a key client contact on important accounts.
• Manage delivery, resources and commercial performance.
• Support flood risk assessments and drainage strategy development.
• Contribute to fee proposals, bids and work‑winning activities.
• Support recruitment, succession planning and team development.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status with ICE.
• Strong consultancy background in UK development infrastructure.
• Proven leadership and client‑management capability.
• Commercial awareness and collaborative approach.
