Associate Director Construction Consultancy

About the role

A leading construction consultancy in London is seeking an Associate Director to lead high‑value commercial projects, develop key client relationships and contribute to the growth of a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of high‑value commercial construction projects across London from inception to completion.
• Manage project programmes, procurement strategies, consultant coordination and contract administration.
• Oversee commercial reporting, stakeholder management and ensure projects meet time, cost and quality targets.
• Act as senior point of contact for clients, maintaining long‑term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing client ties.
• Mentor and develop junior project managers and other team members.

Required profile

• Significant experience within a construction consultancy environment.
• Proven track record delivering office, fit‑out, refurbishment, mixed‑use, landlord or occupier projects.
• Strong commercial project management background with ability to manage complex schemes.
• Demonstrated business development and client relationship management experience.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing project teams.
• Relevant degree (Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or similar).
• Professional membership such as MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent.
