Associate Director (Credit Risks)

About the role

Our client, a leading Lloyd's broker, is seeking an Associate Director to join its Credit & Political Risks Division. You will act as both an Account Executive and Broker, managing a portfolio of structured credit risk solutions for global banks and delivering high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of structured credit risk placements.
• Arrange and negotiate placements with Lloyd's and other market insurers.
• Prepare market submissions, secure competitive terms and present recommendations to clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, clients and underwriters.
• Identify new business opportunities and support account growth.
• Oversee renewals, policy administration and client servicing efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, Lloyd's requirements and internal procedures.
• Stay updated on market developments and provide technical advice as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a Lloyd's broker or London market environment.
• Solid knowledge of credit risk insurance for banks.
• Strong client relationship and negotiation abilities.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• DIP or ACII qualification (or working towards it) is desirable.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented team player.
