Associate Director - Energy Recruitment

About the role

Progresso Search is seeking an Associate Director to lead and expand its Energy Recruitment division. This senior position is based in London and offers the chance to shape strategy, drive revenue and build a high‑performing team within a fast‑growing recruitment business.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the Energy Recruitment team, setting targets and coaching members to exceed them.
• Manage billing, profit and pipeline, ensuring consistent delivery against OTE.
• Develop new business by leveraging existing client relationships and identifying fresh opportunities.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the division, proposing improvements and growth initiatives.
• Lead by example in the market, maintaining a strong personal network within the energy sector.

Required profile

• Proven track record in energy recruitment, with a history of beating sales and billing targets.
• Experience managing or leading a small recruitment team.
• Strong business development and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work hands‑on while influencing strategic decisions.
• Motivated, results‑driven and committed to sector expertise.
