Associate Director Geologist

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an established Associate Director Geologist to drive a well‑established environmental consultancy forward in the geo‑environmental industry. You will work from the Middlesbrough office alongside a talented team of geotechnical and geo‑environmental engineers, supporting clients across the North East.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical and client‑facing activities on contaminated land and geotechnical projects.
• Manage tenders, contracts and workflow coordination across UK offices.
• Build and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and consultants.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base in the North East.

Required profile

• Proven background in contaminated land and geotechnical consultancy.
• Experience in senior technical leadership, client interaction and tender management.
• Demonstrated ability to grow and lead a geo‑environmental team.
