Associate Director - HR M&A

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Director to join our People in Deals team in London, supporting a Professional Services client. The role focuses on managing the human resources aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions and effective people strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on people‑related matters throughout M&A transactions.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective people strategies.
• Lead due‑diligence processes, identifying key risks and opportunities.
• Support integration planning and execution to ensure seamless transitions.
• Deliver insights on organisational design, talent strategy, and workforce planning.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align people strategies with business goals.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
• Stay updated on market trends and best practices in M&A and HR.

Required profile

• Strong experience in human resources, particularly in M&A.
• Solid understanding of organisational design and workforce planning.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Relevant qualification in human resources, business, or a related field.

What we offer

• Salary ranging from £90,000 to £100,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• £5,000 car allowance.
• Permanent position based in London.
