Associate Director – Private Client Tax

About the role

This senior leadership position sits within a market‑leading Private Client Services team at a global advisory firm in Reading. You will manage a portfolio of ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices and privately owned businesses, providing high‑quality tax advice and ensuring compliance across complex, often cross‑border affairs.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop key client relationships, delivering strategic tax advice and compliance oversight.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local market.
• Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
• Work closely with senior partners and national leadership to align regional initiatives.
• Represent the practice at networking events and industry forums.

Required profile

• CTA or ACA qualified (or equivalent) with substantial experience advising high or ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong commercial awareness and proven ability to build trusted relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a private client or family‑office environment.
