Associate Director – Transaction Services (Financial Services)

About the role

Interpath Advisory is seeking a highly motivated Associate Director to join its Financial Services Transaction Services team in London. You will work with a diverse portfolio of banks, lenders, fintechs, asset managers and insurers, leading complex buy‑side and sell‑side engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of Financial Due Diligence (FDD), Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) and Vendor Assist reports.
• Evaluate Quality of Earnings to identify extraordinary income and costs.
• Analyse and benchmark Net Working Capital (NWC) using historical trends.
• Identify debt‑like items through detailed balance‑sheet and off‑balance‑sheet reviews.
• Critically assess target forecasts, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
• Lead client meetings and act as the primary contact for due‑diligence engagements.
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Debt Advisory and other DD specialists across the Interpath network.
• Mentor and develop Managers, Associates and Analysts, contributing to the growth of the Financial Services practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex transaction engagements in the financial services sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess earnings quality, working capital and debt structures.
• Excellent client‑facing skills and ability to build senior relationships.
• Leadership experience in managing and developing junior team members.
