Associate Director – Transaction Services (Technology)

About the role

Interpath Advisory is looking for an Associate Director to join its Transaction Services team in London, focusing on the technology sector. You will lead end‑to‑end due‑diligence engagements for private equity, venture capital and corporate clients, working closely with corporate finance and debt advisory specialists across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) reports.
• Evaluate Quality of Earnings, identifying extraordinary income and costs.
• Analyse and benchmark Net Working Capital trends.
• Identify debt‑like items through detailed balance‑sheet and off‑balance‑sheet reviews.
• Critically assess target forecasts, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
• Lead client meetings and act as the primary contact for due‑diligence engagements.
• Build and strengthen client relationships while mentoring Managers, Associates and Analysts.
• Support business‑development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the technology practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex buy‑side and sell‑side transaction engagements.
• Strong understanding of financial due‑diligence methodologies and quality‑of‑earnings analysis.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
• Motivation to develop the technology sector offering.
