Associate Finance Manager

About the role

The Associate Finance Manager will oversee key financial operations and provide strategic insights for a mid‑sized FMCG organisation in High Wycombe. This interim position requires strong accounting expertise to ensure accurate financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and analyse financial data to support business objectives.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver financial insights.
• Monitor expenses and recommend cost‑saving initiatives.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Support external audits by providing required documentation.
• Identify trends and variances to inform strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in the FMCG sector or a similarly fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach with attention to detail.
