Associate Geoenvironmental Consultant – Exeter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Geoenvironmental Consultant to step into an Associate position within our growing Exeter office. This role offers the chance to lead diverse projects, mentor junior staff, and influence the development of our geoenvironmental practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage geoenvironmental projects from inception through delivery.
• Oversee Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Ground Investigations and Contaminated Land Risk Assessments.
• Design and supervise site investigations and remediation strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Prepare fee proposals and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high technical standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in geoenvironmental or contaminated land consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of contaminated land legislation and risk assessment.
• Proven experience managing projects and leading teams.
• Full UK driving licence.
