Associate, Infrastructure Credit

About the role

GIC is seeking an Associate to join its Infrastructure Credit team in London. You will work on non‑investment‑grade debt investments across global infrastructure assets, supporting the full transaction lifecycle from origination to asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite, model and execute infrastructure credit transactions, focusing on junior and mezzanine debt.
• Prepare deal memoranda for senior investment staff and credit committee review.
• Provide execution support, including deal screening, structuring, pricing, due‑diligence and legal closings.
• Interact regularly with banks, advisors, management teams, equity partners and credit GPs.
• Assist in managing fund commitments, co‑investment opportunities and ongoing asset management of infra credit investments.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative, financial and analytical abilities.
• Relevant experience in infrastructure finance, advisory, leveraged finance, structured finance or high‑yield capital markets.
• Experience committing debt capital as a principal and defending investment papers.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure sub‑sectors and loan structures.
• Proficiency in complex financial modelling and familiarity with multi‑layered capital structures.
• Exposure to European debt markets; knowledge of US and emerging‑market debt is a plus.
• Team player with excellent communication and numerical skills.
