Associate Interior Architect

About the role

Take a pivotal leadership position from day one, driving the delivery of a high‑profile healthcare scheme. You will join a multidisciplinary practice focused on design excellence that improves lives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, oversee and track design delivery across all workstreams, ensuring compliance with CDM, planning and building control milestones.
• Administer NEC3/NEC4 contract mechanics, including scope changes, early warnings and compensation events.
• Manage project commercials, internal and external cost reporting, and maintain design risk and issue registers.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, monitor supply‑chain performance and identify resource needs.
• Mentor junior staff and report project performance to directors.
• Liaise with the client’s project management team to resolve issues and communicate progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on NEC3/NEC4 contract administration in a complex construction or engineering environment.
• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial literacy and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with scheduling software such as Asta Powerproject or Microsoft Project is beneficial.
• Collaborative, organised and adaptable in a fast‑paced setting.
