Associate – Private Credit Group

About the role

GIC’s Private Credit Group is seeking an Associate to support direct lending investments across the US, Europe and Asia. Based in London, you will join a three‑year Associate programme and work alongside a team that has deployed tens of billions of dollars into more than 100 companies.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and execute senior and subordinated debt transactions.
• Lead due‑diligence processes, build and maintain financial models, and screen investment ideas.
• Participate in portfolio management, including monitoring existing positions and valuing incremental debt opportunities.
• Negotiate term amendments and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Contribute to special projects and ad‑hoc analyses as required.

Required profile

• Strong academic background with a keen interest in finance and credit markets.
• Curious, inquisitive mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
