Associate Professorship of International Business

About the role

The Saïd Business School and St Antony's College at the University of Oxford are seeking an Associate Professor of International Business. The role is open to early‑career scholars, post‑doctoral researchers, and tenure‑track faculty who can contribute to world‑leading research in global strategy, comparative political economy, and international political economy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high‑quality research programme publishable in top‑ranked management and social science journals.
• Contribute to the International Business group’s research on sustainability, digital transformation, innovation in emerging markets, and the future of work.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaborations across Oxford colleges and departments.
• Participate in teaching and supervision activities as required by the fellowship.
• Secure external research funding and contribute to the academic community at St Antony's College.

Required profile

• PhD in International Business or a closely related field (completed or near completion).
• Strong publication record or clear potential for publishing in 4* CABS‑rated journals and FT‑listed outlets.
• Commitment to rigorous, relevant scholarship with a multi‑level perspective on the political economy of business.
• Ability to work collaboratively with scholars from diverse methodological backgrounds.
