Associate Quantity Surveyor – London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor to join our independent construction consultancy in London. The role involves leading pre‑ and post‑contract services on commercial and mixed‑use developments across the capital and South East.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑ and post‑contract services, preparing and reviewing cost plans.
• Manage procurement and tender processes and administer contracts under JCT forms.
• Oversee valuations, variations, final accounts and chair client and design team meetings.
• Mentor and manage Senior and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
• Support business development and strengthen client relationships.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or RICS‑accredited equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering commercial or mixed‑use schemes in London.
• Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Experience managing teams and multiple projects.
• Confident client‑facing and reporting skills.
• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership (advantageous).
