Associate Relationship Manager – Mid Markets (Hybrid, Cardiff/Newport)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Relationship Manager to support a growth portfolio within our Mid‑Market segment (turnover £50m‑£500m). Working alongside Relationship Directors across South Wales, you will help deliver tailored banking solutions and excellent service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Attend client meetings (virtual or in‑person), prepare agendas and briefing notes, and follow up actions.
• Support the lending journey, identify high‑value clients and spot opportunities for product solutions.
• Assist with credit proposals, monitor risk and contribute to financial analysis.
• Help with credit reviews, facility changes and onboarding, including preparing proposals and tender submissions.
• Manage diary and inbox, prioritize tasks and suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal product partners to deliver tailored solutions and stay informed on sector developments.
