Associate – Secondary Advisory Team (Private Equity)

About the role

This position is with an established private equity secondaries advisory team based in London. The Associate will support the team in managing transactions, providing investor information, and conducting due‑diligence activities across the secondary market.

Key responsibilities

• Support all aspects of deal management, including responding to investor information requests and due‑diligence queries.
• Prepare portfolio analyses to originate high‑quality secondary transactions.
• Conduct thorough research and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of limited partner (LP) and general partner (GP) landscapes.
• Maintain and update all transaction‑related documentation.

Required profile

• Prior experience in investment banking or private equity.
• Strong motivation and/or experience in the private equity secondaries market.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and familiarity with valuation methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, high numeracy, and professional judgement.
• Ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team and liaise confidently with senior management.
