Associate / Senior Associate – Portfolio Finance Operations Analyst

About the role

Barings is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Portfolio Finance Loan Asset Management team in London. The role supports the full lifecycle of complex financing facilities, from closing and onboarding through ongoing servicing, monitoring and off‑boarding.

Key responsibilities

• Support onboarding and administration of complex portfolio finance facilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with transaction documentation.
• Monitor facility performance, borrower reporting and covenant compliance.
• Perform lifecycle calculations, waterfall analyses and contribute to portfolio oversight.
• Assist in transaction execution, documentation review and coordination with investment teams, lenders and external service providers.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with borrowers, investment professionals, lenders and third‑party providers.
• Relevant academic background in finance, economics or a related discipline.
