Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior – Accounting Practice

About the role

We are seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior to join our growing Manchester‑based team. This full‑time position offers the chance to develop your audit and accounting expertise within a respected North West practice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Assist with audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Build knowledge across a wide range of industries and business sectors.
• Work with a variety of cloud accounting software and bookkeeping systems.
• Support senior team members in delivering exceptional client service.
• Develop technical knowledge through structured on‑the‑job training and professional studies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in practice preparing statutory accounts for owner‑managed businesses.
• Exposure to audit work or a genuine desire to build audit experience.
• AAT qualification or actively studying towards AAT, ACCA or ACA.
