About the role

Join a top‑tier chartered accountancy practice in Sittingbourne as an Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior. You will work across audit and accounts for a diverse portfolio of corporate and not‑for‑profit organisations throughout the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning audit engagements, defining scope and objectives.
• Perform audit tests and procedures in line with the audit plan.
• Prepare detailed audit documentation and working papers.
• Draft audit reports and findings for senior review.
• Recommend improvements to internal controls and operational processes.
• Ensure audit procedures comply with relevant laws, regulations and standards.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and clarify queries.
• Analyse financial statements.

Required profile

• AAT qualified and/or studying, part‑qualified or finalist ACA/ACCA.
• 1‑3 years experience in an accountancy practice, covering audit and accounts work.
• Motivation to progress within the profession and take on increasing responsibility.
