Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior/Senior – Chichester

About the role

Our client, an established firm of Chartered Accountants in Chichester, is looking for an Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior/Senior to join their growing team. The position involves a mixed portfolio of audit and accounting work, with an approximate split of 60 % audit and 40 % accounts, and may also include VAT, personal tax and corporation tax tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit engagements for a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with UK standards.
• Prepare and maintain client accounts, handling bookkeeping and financial statements.
• Assist with VAT returns, personal tax filings and corporation tax calculations as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of UK audit and accounts experience in practice.
• AAT Level 4 qualification (or progressing) or working towards ACCA/ACA.
• Willingness to undertake further professional study, with study support available.
