Audit & Accounts Senior – Chartered Accountant Firm

About the role

TPF Recruitment is representing a top‑20 chartered accountancy firm in the South East. The Audit & Accounts Senior will lead statutory audit assignments for limited companies and take responsibility for each file before it is reviewed by the Director.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies.
• Conduct audits in accordance with ISAs.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Produce corporation tax computations and analyse tax items.
• Mentor and develop trainees, providing guidance and addressing knowledge gaps.
• Support Client Managers and Directors with technical expertise.
• Keep up to date with legislative changes affecting audit and accounting practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant with audit and accounts experience.
• Previous practice experience, including UK company audits.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Desirable experience in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with SAGE, Xero, Quickbooks or Kashflow.
• Exposure to audit automation tools.

What we offer

• Salary between £40,000 and £47,500 per year, dependent on experience.
