Audit & Accounts Senior

About the role

We are seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join a well‑established accountancy practice in Borehamwood. This position offers a blend of audit and accounting work for a diverse portfolio of SME and owner‑managed clients, with the chance to develop your career in a supportive, modern environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Assist managers and partners with client work and ad‑hoc projects.
• Review and support junior staff as required.
• Liaise directly with clients, maintaining strong relationships.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Support audit and accounts compliance work across the portfolio.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience in both audit and accounts preparation.
• ACA or ACCA qualified, or part‑qualified.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Proactive, professional approach with the ability to manage workload.
