Audit & Accounts Senior

About the role

We are seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior for a well‑established accountancy practice on the outskirts of Maidenhead. The role is ideal for a qualified ACA or ACCA professional with solid audit and accounts experience who wants to grow within a friendly, expanding firm.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audit assignments from start to finish.
• Prepare statutory and management accounts for a range of clients.
• Carry out personal and corporation tax work.
• Identify client needs, propose solutions and manage client relationships.
• Deliver work within agreed deadlines and budgets.
• Research and analyse financial statements for audit‑related issues.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with audit and accounts experience in a UK practice.
• Strong technical knowledge and analytical ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Up‑to‑date with relevant legislation.
• Positive, motivated team player with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Own car and right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
