Audit & Accounts Senior / Semi‑Senior

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established accountancy firm in Central London to find an Audit & Accounts Senior or Semi‑Senior. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse client portfolio across multiple sectors while developing technical expertise in audit and statutory accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Lead and support audit assignments from planning through completion.
• Conduct audit testing and produce clear working papers.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
• Review bookkeeping records, resolve queries and prepare corporation tax computations where required.
• Liaise directly with clients, delivering a high level of service.
• Support junior team members and share technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice.
• Hands‑on experience with audit and accounts assignments.
• Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
• ACA/ACCA qualification or active progression towards it (or qualified by experience).
