Audit & Accounts Senior / Semi‑Senior

About the role

We are looking for an Audit and Accounts Senior or Semi‑Senior to join our growing chartered accountancy practice in Kingston Upon Thames. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to support audit and accounts managers while developing your technical expertise in a friendly, owner‑managed business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver audit and accounts assignments in line with client manager or partner instructions.
• Prepare statutory audit workpapers and financial statements.
• Supervise and review the work of junior staff members.
• Produce and submit working schedules to managers or partners promptly.
• Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the engagement.

Required profile

• ACCA or ICAEW qualified or part‑qualified accountant.
• 1‑3 years of in‑practice experience.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and statutory audit procedures.
• Experience of statutory tax, management accounting, VAT reporting and bookkeeping.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
