Audit and Accounts Senior – Hybrid Working

About the role

We are looking for a newly qualified ACA or ACCA professional to join a well‑established chartered accountancy firm in East Hampshire. The position offers a balanced mix of audit engagements and statutory accounts work for owner‑managed businesses, with hybrid working flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, including risk assessment and final reporting.
• Prepare statutory accounts under UK GAAP (FRS 102) from trial balance.
• Review work of junior team members and provide mentorship.
• Identify and communicate audit and accounting issues to clients.
• Maintain high‑quality working papers and ensure compliance with UK auditing standards.

Required profile

• Newly qualified ACA or ACCA with at least 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and statutory accounts preparation.
• Confident in managing full‑cycle audit assignments.
• Organised, client‑focused and comfortable using modern accounting systems.
