Audit Manager – Boutique Accountancy Practice

About the role

We are looking for an experienced audit professional to join our small boutique practice in Henley. As Audit Manager you will own a diverse portfolio, lead audits from planning to completion and work closely with senior partners. This role offers genuine responsibility and the chance to shape a growing audit function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit assignments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Lead audits for group and international clients, preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS and FRS 102.
• Plan audit work, control budgets and resources, and review statutory accounts.
• Supervise, coach and develop junior team members.
• Collaborate with partners on complex technical and audit matters.
• Build long‑term client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with at least three years post‑qualification experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a professional practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and International Standards on Auditing.
• Proven experience managing audits and statutory accounts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build client rapport.
