Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified Audit Manager to join our growing accountancy practice in Brighton. The role offers full ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, with the chance to mentor junior staff and work closely with the Audit Partner.

Key responsibilities

• Manage statutory audits from planning to completion.
• Lead fieldwork and coordinate audit teams.
• Review audit files and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with a diverse client portfolio.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience managing statutory audits within a small to mid‑sized practice.
• Strong technical audit and accounting knowledge.
• Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.
• Desire to develop people and build client relationships.
