Audit Partner – West Midlands

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Partner to lead the growth of our audit practice across the West Midlands. The successful candidate will act as the face of our SME and private business proposition, building relationships with owners, CFOs and finance directors while shaping the firm’s long‑term strategy in the region. This is a senior, entrepreneurial role offering autonomy to develop a market‑leading presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new audit business opportunities across the SME and private business market.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, referrals and market engagement.
• Establish yourself as a recognised figure within the West Midlands business community.
• Collaborate with specialist teams in tax, deals, private client, outsourcing, technology and advisory services to deliver integrated solutions.
• Champion a collaborative, high‑performance culture and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.

Required profile

• Audit Partner or Director with a strong commercial mindset.
• Relationship‑led and business‑development focused, well‑connected within the private business and OMB marketplace.
• Entrepreneurial, resilient and motivated by growth.
• Comfortable leading conversations with owners, entrepreneurs and senior decision‑makers.
• Enjoys building a practice rather than inheriting one.
