Audit Resource Coordinator

About the role

The Audit Resource Coordinator will support the delivery of audit engagements by planning and coordinating staff resources. Acting as the central point of contact, you will match the right people to the right assignments while supporting individual development goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff allocations across audit assignments, training programmes and leave.
• Serve as the first point of contact for resourcing queries and system support.
• Liaise with audit managers and internal teams to understand resource requirements.
• Support trainee and qualified staff to ensure assignments align with development plans.
• Monitor utilisation, capacity and key performance metrics.
• Assist with absence management, including holiday, study leave and sickness.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of resourcing processes and systems.

Required profile

• Previous experience in resource planning, scheduling or workforce coordination.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident communication skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
