Audit Semi Senior – Liverpool

Key responsibilities

• Assist with statutory audits from planning through to completion.
• Prepare audit files and support fieldwork activities.
• Carry out substantive testing and complete audit documentation.
• Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Assist with corporation tax computations where required.
• Develop strong professional relationships by working directly with clients.
• Identify areas for improvement and add value throughout the audit process.
• Support and mentor trainees where appropriate.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA part‑qualified (or AAT qualified with audit experience).
• Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience assisting on statutory audits.
• Good understanding of UK accounting standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ambition to progress towards full professional qualification.
