Audit Semi Senior (Manchester)

About the role

Cooper Parry is expanding its Audit team in Manchester and is looking for a motivated Audit Semi Senior. This position is ideal for someone progressing towards an ACA/ACCA qualification who wants to develop technical audit skills while working with a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Assist managers and assistant managers in delivering statutory audits across a varied portfolio.
• Conduct allocated audit procedures and ensure timely progress against the audit timetable and budget.
• Resolve audit queries and suggest more efficient approaches where appropriate.
• Review work of trainees and provide guidance on audit methodology.
• Communicate progress to management and contribute to client procedure improvements.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA part‑qualified or equivalent.
• Experience in a practice environment, preferably with privately owned businesses or a mixed portfolio.
• Proven ability to plan and complete audits and prepare accounts.
• Experience using an analytical review process.
• Experience delegating and reviewing the work of trainees.
