Audit Semi‑Senior – Glasgow

About the role

TC Alexander Sloan is seeking an Audit Semi‑Senior to join its Glasgow office. You will support the External Audit Department by delivering high‑quality audit assignments, collaborating with seniors, managers and partners, and contributing to client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out audit fieldwork in line with the audit plan and firm procedures.
• Investigate irregularities, assess controls and systems, and identify audit risks.
• Assist in audit planning, including risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Provide recommendations to improve client systems and internal controls.
• Maintain up‑to‑date audit knowledge through training and development.
• Support partners and clients with any reasonable requests.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACCA professional with at least one year of audit experience.
• Experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple workloads.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels.

Required skills

• ACCA qualification (part‑qualified).
• Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.

• Permanent full‑time role (35 hours per week) with flexible hours policy.
• Salary range £25,000‑£27,000 per year.
