Audit Semi‑Senior – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Semi‑Senior to join our Manchester office. You will work closely with seniors, assistant managers and managers to deliver high‑quality audit assignments for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Support on‑site audits, executing the agreed audit plan and managing resources.
• Ensure audit quality by adhering to company policies, auditing standards and best practices.
• Assist and mentor junior auditors, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
• Contribute to audit findings reports, highlighting key risks and significant issues for senior review.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to facilitate a smooth audit process.
• Collaborate with other service lines to enhance the overall client experience.
• Share knowledge with the team and support a collaborative working environment.
• Proactively pursue professional development and technical skill enhancement.

Required profile

• Part‑way through ACA or ACCA studies.
• Proven experience in audit and accounts with knowledge of quality and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and control measures within the audit process.
• Strong analytical ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions.

Required skills

• CaseWare (experience beneficial but not mandatory).
• CCH (experience beneficial but not mandatory).
