Audit Semi‑Senior – Part‑Qualified ACA/ACCA

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Audit Semi‑Senior to join a fast‑growing accountancy practice in Aldershot. The role combines audit and accounts work, offering exposure to a variety of clients across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver audit assignments, ensuring high quality and adherence to budgets.
• Prepare audit files, conduct planning, and supervise junior staff during fieldwork.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships.
• Prepare statutory accounts and support the Audit Manager with finalisation.
• Complete working papers, including bank reconciliations and manual control accounts.
• Perform basic tax computations such as corporation tax and VAT returns.
• Contribute to service pricing and new client quotations.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or finalist ACA/ACCA with at least 2 years external audit experience.
• Experience in a regional accountancy firm handling small‑ to medium‑sized corporate clients.
• Ability to work to strict audit deadlines and manage multiple client engagements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Tax computations (corporation tax, VAT).
