Audit Semi‑Senior / Senior Accountant

About the role

Our client, an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Chichester, is looking for an Audit Semi‑Senior/Senior to join their growing team. You will work on a mixed portfolio of clients across various industries, delivering audits from planning through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise audit engagements for a diverse client base.
• Prepare audit files, financial statements and corporation tax computations.
• Maintain communication with clients and senior team members throughout the audit process.
• Ensure compliance with UK audit standards and firm policies.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of UK practice experience in audit and accounts.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit procedures and UK tax regulations.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a car for client site visits.
• Willingness to undertake professional exam support (ACA/ACCA) if required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero.
• Experience using Sage.
• Familiarity with CaseWare.
• Knowledge of Silverfin.
• Understanding of CCH software.
