Audit Senior – ACA/ACCA Qualified – Guildford

About the role

We are seeking a qualified ACA or ACCA Audit Senior to join a fast‑growing Top100 accountancy practice in Guildford. The role will involve leading audit assignments and supporting the accounts and tax function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a variety of audit assignments across multiple industry sectors.
• Prepare audit files, conduct audit planning and supervise junior staff during fieldwork.
• Ensure end‑to‑end audit assignments are completed to a high standard, on time and within budget.
• Supervise and review work performed by graduate‑level team members.
• Use accounting software to produce accurate reports for managers, directors and clients.
• Prepare corporate tax computations for small limited companies and partnerships.
• Prepare statutory accounts and assist with year‑end accounts under the Audit Director’s supervision.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical audit knowledge and fulfil CPD requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
• Minimum 3 years of external audit experience with small‑ and medium‑sized corporate clients.
• Experience in a Top100 or regional accountancy firm.
• Proven ability to work in a team, build client relationships and meet strict audit deadlines.
