Audit Senior – Accountancy Practice

About the role

Our client, a respected accountancy firm, is seeking a qualified Audit Senior to join their friendly team during a period of growth. You will lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, maintaining regular client contact and ensuring high‑quality audit delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct or support pre‑audit and post‑audit meetings with clients and maintain regular contact.
• Design and lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Collaborate with qualified and part‑qualified accountants/auditors to meet audit standards and deadlines.
• Monitor and control job budgets, ensuring audits are completed on time and within budget.
• Contribute to firm growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
• Take responsibility for audit assignments and onsite team management.

Required profile

• Qualified auditor with strong technical audit knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships quickly.
• Team player who can mentor junior staff and support colleagues.
• Self‑starter with a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage projects to timely completion.
