Audit Senior Associate (Edinburgh)

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join a leading accountancy practice in central Edinburgh. This permanent, full‑time position offers a balanced 35‑hour week, hybrid working and a clear progression path to Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage external audits from planning through to completion.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Oversee junior staff, providing guidance and reviewing their work.
• Handle technical queries and support business advisory projects.
• Engage with clients, attend meetings and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist/PQ considered).
• Proven experience leading audits from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
